Sandblasting process is to conduct partial sandblasting on the surface of metal jewelry according to the design requirements, which makes the polished surface of metal jewelry form a clear contrast, and enhance the aesthetic feeling of jewelry line art. There are two kinds of sand blasting technology: one is dry sand and the other is water sand.
1. Main tools required for sand blasting:
1. Sandblasting machine; 2. Air compressor; 3. diamond (quartz sand); 4. protective tape or wax
2. Operation steps:
1. The polished jewelry parts that need not be sandblasted shall be sealed with protective wax or protective tape. When pasting protective tape or applying protective wax, the lines shall be flat and tidy.
2. Select the appropriate thickness of diamond as required and put it into the sand blasting machine. Then adjust the required air pressure.
3. hold the broken jewelry, put the parts needing sand blasting into the sandblasting machine, align with the sand outlet of the sandblasting machine, open the air pressure valve, and spray the emery on the metal jewelry with air pressure until the requirements are met. Sand blasting position must be complete and uniform to achieve the effect.
